Tell us your address, your colours, and what you’d like lit — roofline, trees, wreaths, the works. We build a realistic mockup of your own home so you can see the look before you decide, and you get a firm, all-in price — usually two or three of them, at different levels of coverage. No obligation, nothing to buy.

We install your lights
Commercial-grade LEDs, custom-cut to your exact rooflines and features. We own them, we bring them, and we handle every ladder — fully insured. They stay dark until you’re ready to flip the switch.
And you don’t flip it every night either. Every install includes a digital timer with battery backup — we set it to your hours once, and it holds that schedule through a power outage instead of resetting itself in January. Before anything is energized we also test the GFCI outlet your display plugs into, to confirm it’s actually working.

A steep roof, an aluminum ladder, and an icy morning is the worst combination in home maintenance. Handing that over is most of what you’re actually buying.
We carry $2 million in liability insurance and are WSIB covered, and working at height is a normal working day for us rather than a once-a-year favour to ourselves.
Worth knowing: our roof anchors clamp over the ridge rather than screwing into your shingles. Nothing we use to keep ourselves safe puts a hole in your roof.

Anyone can shoot the front of a house. This is a full walkaround of a finished Springwater install — the sides, the back, the awkward peak over the garage. The lines stay straight the whole way round, because the strands are measured and cut to that specific roof.

$8 per linear foot. Most homes run $800–$3,500 all-in, with the average around $1,500. Design (with a realistic mockup of your home), lights, install, the timer, maintenance, takedown, and storage — one price, no surprises.
And it’s rarely one number: most designs come back with two or three options at different levels of coverage, so you’re choosing what fits rather than taking or leaving a single price.

Frequently asked lighting questions
How much does Christmas lighting cost?
Most homes land between 800 and 3,500 depending on the size of the display, with the average around 1,500. We price at 8 per linear foot, and the average home uses about 170 feet for a complete setup. It’s all-inclusive: design, commercial-grade lights, install, the timer, in-season maintenance, takedown, and storage.
Do I have to turn them on and off every night?
No — every install includes a digital timer with battery backup. We set it to the hours you want once, and it runs the display itself all season; the battery backup means a power outage doesn’t wipe the schedule and leave your lights on at 4am in January. We also test the GFCI outlet your display plugs into before we energize anything, so you know the safety cut-out actually works. Both are part of the price, not add-ons.
Can I see what it’ll look like before I commit?
Yes. As part of your free design, we build a realistic mockup of your own home with the lights on, so you can see the exact look — colours, coverage, where each run goes — and adjust it until it’s what you want. Most designs come back as two or three options at different levels of coverage, so you can weigh what you want lit against what you want to spend. You approve the design and the price before anything is installed.
What colours and patterns can I choose?
Warm white, cool white, blue, red, green, and yellow — in single-colour, candy-cane, or multi-colour patterns. And you can change colours and patterns next year at no extra cost.
What happens when I renew next year?
Returning clients get 20% off — our "Early Elf" rate — for letting us install in October; the lights can go up early and stay dark until you’re ready. And as long as your layout stays the same, your price stays the same for three years from your first install. Changing your colours or your pattern is always free. Adding to the layout is only repriced if it means more work, product, or equipment, and we’d tell you before install day.
What happens if a bulb goes out or a strand comes down?
We fix it, free, within 48 hours. Free maintenance calls are part of every install — that’s our worry-free warranty.
Do I get a discount next year?
Yes — returning clients get a 20% Early Elf discount for October installations. First-year clients don’t get the Early Elf rate, but booking in October still matters: it’s how you secure a November install date. Dates fill fastest between Halloween and the first snowfall.
Do I have to buy the lights?
No — and that’s the point. Your quote includes commercial-grade LED lights custom-cut to your home, plus storage in the off-season. No tangled bins in your garage, and no ladder for you, ever.
Can you install my own lights?
We install only our commercial-grade, custom-cut lights. Store-bought strands aren’t built for wind and ice, and we can’t guarantee (or efficiently repair) product we didn’t supply — and the No-Lights-Out Guarantee is most of what you’re paying for.
When do the lights go up?
Installs run October through early December, and going up early doesn’t mean lit early — your display stays dark until you’re ready to flip the switch. Prime dates fill by early November, so booking in fall gets you the date you want.
