What we collect
When you request a quote or book a service, we collect what’s needed to do the job: your name, contact details, service address, and details about your home relevant to the work (like square footage or photos you send us). If you browse the site without contacting us, we don’t collect personal information.
How we use it
To quote, schedule, perform, and invoice your service; to send appointment confirmations, on-the-way notices, and job-completion updates; and to follow up about seasonal services you’ve asked about. We don’t sell your information, rent it, or share it with marketers. Ever.
Text messages
We text. It’s usually the fastest way to reach someone about a job, and the site invites you to text us at (705) 242-4888. Our messages to you arrive from (705) 242-2937 — our dedicated texting line, run through Jobber — and you can reply to it directly; a real person here reads it. If you’ve given us your number — through a form here, over the phone, by text or email, or in person — we may use it to send you:
- Service messages about work you’ve asked for or booked: quote follow-ups, appointment confirmations, on-the-way notices, and job-completion updates.
- The occasional seasonal note — early-bird Christmas lighting dates, or a reminder that it’s time to book a service you’ve had before. These are rare and they’re from us, not a marketing list.
You can stop the texts at any time, and you can stop just the seasonal ones. Reply STOP to any message from (705) 242-2937 to cancel all texts from us, or STOP MKT to keep the service messages about your jobs while turning off the seasonal ones. Reply HELP for help. You can also just tell us — call, text, or email [email protected] — and we’ll take care of it. Message frequency varies, and standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
We will never sell, rent, or share your phone number or your consent to be texted with a third party for their own marketing. The only companies that see your number are the ones we use to run the business and reach you — described below.
Who else touches it
We run our scheduling and invoicing through Jobber, a Canadian field-service platform, and payments are processed through its secure payment system — we never see or store your full card number. Jobber also carries our texting line ((705) 242-2937), so the messages we send you pass through it. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, and our email — the confirmation you get after requesting a quote, and any follow-up we send — goes out through Resend. These providers process your data only to deliver those services.
Job photos
We take before-and-after photos of the work we do. Exterior work photos may appear in our gallery or social media — never with your name, address, or anything identifying your location. If you’d rather your home not appear anywhere, just tell us; that’s always fine.
Cookies
This site doesn’t use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers — which is why there’s no cookie popup. Any site statistics we review are cookieless and anonymous. The quote tool keeps your in-progress quote in your browser only until you submit or leave.
Advertising
We sometimes advertise on Facebook and Instagram. If you arrive here from one of those ads, the link carries a click ID in the web address. If you then submit a quote request, our server tells Meta that the ad led to a request — so we know which ads are worth paying for. That message contains the click ID, the value of the quote, and your IP address and browser type; it does not contain your name, email, phone number, or address, and we don’t store the click ID in a cookie or use it to follow you around the web. If you’d rather we didn’t send it at all, email [email protected] and we’ll delete it — or just visit us directly instead of through an ad, and there’s no click ID to send.
Your choices
Want to see what we have on file, correct it, or have it deleted? Email [email protected] or call (705) 242-4888 and we’ll take care of it. You can unsubscribe from any non-transactional email with one click, and stop our texts any time (see above).
