Hand-finished glass

Scrubber and squeegee, done properly — interior and exterior, with tracks and sills detailed by hand.

Upper storeys, handled

Tall peaks and full frame washes get our pure-water pole — spot-free results from the ground, keeping ladders off your home. When a ladder is the right tool, we use it safely and fully insured.

Screens, priced up front

Screen cleaning is an add-on you can put on any clean — removed, washed, and put back. Priced by home size and shown before you book, never a surprise line.

The detail work

French panes, divided lites, and the windows other crews sigh at.

Every divided pane is its own little window — its own edges, its own corners, its own chance to leave a streak. That’s exactly the kind of work we like. Each lite gets cleaned and detailed individually, by hand, until the whole grid reads crisp from across the room.

It’s the same standard everywhere we work: tracks and sills wiped out, frames included when we bring the pure-water pole. If a home has fiddly windows, that’s not a problem to work around — it’s the job.

Common questions about window cleaning

How much does window cleaning cost?

Most exterior window cleans run $250–$525 depending on the size of your home, and inside-and-out together is typically $500–$1,050. It’s flat-rate by home size, so the quote is the price even if the job runs long. NordCare members save $50 on every window-cleaning pass — so $50 off an exterior clean, and $100 off an inside-and-out. You can get an exact number in about a minute with our instant quote tool — no email required.

Do you clean both the inside and outside of the windows?

Both. Choose exterior-only for all the outside glass, or an In & Out clean that adds interior glass, tracks, and sills for exactly twice the exterior price. Screen cleaning can be added to either one. For exterior work you don’t even need to be home.

How do you clean second-storey and hard-to-reach windows safely?

Often with a pure-water pole system that reaches upper storeys from the ground — keeping ladders off your house, and washing the frames along with the glass. It dries spot-free, so the result is equal to or better than a squeegee. When a pane needs hand-detailing up high, we ladder up too — always steady and fully insured. Either way, you are not the one climbing.

Are screens and tracks included?

Tracks and sills are wiped out by hand as part of the interior work on an In & Out clean. Screens are a separate add-on on any clean — removed, washed, and put back, priced by home size. We publish that price like every other one, so you can see it before you book rather than discovering it on the invoice.

Do you clean skylights?

Yes. They’re not part of the standard window count, though — pitch and roof access vary far too much for a flat rate — so skylights are quoted separately and added to the same visit. Mention them when you book, or text a photo to (705) 242-4888, and we’ll price them in.

Can window cleaning damage my seals or frames?

Not the way it should be done. What causes damage is bad practice — high pressure driven at the edge of a pane, or aggressive scraping — and that isn’t how we work. Pure water rinses frames at low pressure, and hand work stays on the glass. The honest caveat: a seal that has already failed on an older home often only becomes visible once the glass is clean, and brittle old glass is brittle before we arrive. We’ll point out anything we notice rather than leave you to find it, and we carry $2 million in liability insurance and full WSIB coverage behind every visit.

Can you remove hard water stains and white spots from my glass?

Often yes — but it isn’t dirt, which is why a normal clean won’t touch it. Those chalky white marks are hard water stains: minerals left by sprinkler spray, well water, or runoff off a roof or mortar, and given enough seasons they etch into the surface of the glass itself. Light mineral spotting lifts with a dedicated treatment; deep etching sometimes only improves rather than disappears, and we’ll tell you which one you’re looking at before you spend a dollar. Hard water stain removal is quoted as an add-on to a regular clean — and NordCare members get light mineral spotting removed free on plan visits.

How often should I get my windows cleaned?

Twice a year suits most Simcoe County homes — once in spring after the winter salt and grit, once in fall. Waterfront and treed properties see more spotting and do best on that rhythm. The NordCare Plan puts exterior cleans on autopilot each spring and fall with $50 off every visit.

Why is there haze between the panes that won’t come clean?

That cloudiness sits inside a sealed double-pane unit — it’s a failed seal, not dirt, and no cleaning (ours or anyone’s) can reach it. The glass unit itself has to be replaced. We’ll always tell you honestly when that’s what you’re looking at.
