Beyond the standard wash
Faded, chalky siding? That’s oxidation — and it comes off.
If your vinyl looks hazed-over and dull — worst on the sunny south and west walls, and most obvious on rich colours like blues, reds, and greens — that’s oxidation. Years of UV slowly break down the surface of the vinyl itself, leaving a chalky film no ordinary wash will touch. Run a finger across the siding: if it comes away powdery, that’s it.
We restore it rather than wash it: an oxidation-dissolving detergent goes on at low pressure, dwells long enough to loosen the chalk, then gets agitated by hand with soft brushes and rinsed clean. Panel by panel, the original colour comes back — no painting, no replacement siding.
