What Springwater does to glass
Springwater is the inland half of our map, and it dirties windows differently than the shoreline towns do. There’s no lake film here — instead there’s dust. Gravel concessions, open farmland west toward the Minesing Wetlands, and spring fieldwork put a fine grit in the air that settles on glass and turns to streaked mud the first time it rains.
The tree cover does the rest. The estate lots through Midhurst, Anten Mills, and Snow Valley sit under mature pine and maple, which means heavy spring pollen, summer sap, and enough shade that the north side of a house never really dries out. Sap in particular stops being a wipe-off job once it’s baked on a sunny pane.
Then there’s the glass itself. Springwater has a lot of newer builds with two-storey great-room windows and walkout basements, plus older farmhouses with divided panes that take real time to do by hand. Both are the kind of window people give up on cleaning themselves — one because it’s too high, the other because it’s too fiddly.
Springwater tip: if you’re on a well — and much of the township is — you’ve probably noticed that hosing the windows off makes them worse. That’s mineral content drying on the glass. It’s also exactly the problem our tank water solves.
How we clean windows in Springwater
Scrubber and squeegee by hand, inside and out, with tracks and sills detailed on every In & Out clean. Upper storeys and full frame washes get the pure-water pole system, so the tall great-room glass comes out spot-free from the ground — no ladders against the siding, and no one has to be home for exterior work.
The de-ionised water comes with us in a tank on the truck. On well properties that’s the whole ballgame: hard water is what leaves the spots, and none of yours touches the glass.
Divided panes and older farmhouse windows we simply take longer on, by hand. It’s slower, we price it accordingly up front, and it doesn’t change on the day.
